    My 52 Roadmaster

    Hi there

In mid-october I won an auction on Ebay, for a 1952 Roadmaster model 72R. Yesterday was the big day, it finally moved in here on my farm !

It came out of Kelowna, BC, was shipped along with a Jaguar E-type (Not Mine !) in a 20' container via Montreal and Bremerhaven in Germany, to Copenhagen here in Denmark.

Right away that big straight-eight purred like a kitten, and now we can't wait for the snow to melt, so we can take it for a ride ! :3gears:

Feel free to check out my website www.roadmaster.dk It's only in danish so far, but I will get around to doing a english version soon !

    Cheers

    '63 Buick Riviera

I've had my '63 Riv for 22 years now. It's a combination of stock and modern parts. The paint is Mercedes Astral Silver, which I think makes look like the Silver Arrow I concept car. It has the custom black leather/ wood veneer interior.

But being into audio hi-fi, I've outfitted it with a stealithily installed sound quality system consisting of a Nakamichi Cd700II, Nak Ec-304 electronic crossover, a/d/s 642ix signa processor, a/d/s Ac-502 remote bass controller, JL 500/1 mono amp, Soundstream Reference 300 amp, (2) Soundstream Reference 10R subs, (2) a/d/s 300is full range speakers, Monster Powerline 2+ sub wire, Audioquest CV-4 full-range wire, Monster powerwire, Dynamat Extreme sound-deadeners, wool carpets, specially-wound, high-output alternator, Optima Yellowtop battery, etc.

Oh, and the ugly green thing is a '70Terrornado I just sold to make way for my immaculate '76 Buick Riviera (which really doesn't belong in this thread).

Another pic of my '63 riv. Isn't that color of paint perfect for the aesthetics of the car?

    my dad's '50 Roadmaster

My Mom, who's an avowed terrible driver, had to learn how to drive in this hearse!!

My Dad's had many Buicks--a '46,'47,'50,'55 Special, '59 Electra, '65 Electra 225, '74 Limited, '76 Limited, '79 Limited, '85 Park Avenue. I tried to convince him to get a '87 GNX, but that wasn't his cup of tea. Now, he wants to get a La Crosse (ugh!). Buick, please bring back the Riviera as an image car for the division, because it's raedily apparent that buick has no clear image now. Why not reskin a GTO as riviera to appeal to young and old people who aren't interested in cigar-lounge-chair-chambers(i.e., Park Avenue Ultra)?

    The painter did it !

    Hi there,

meanwhile my old lady has been re-dressed in Tahiti Coral (photos attached) and after the new headliner is installed, re-assembly starts (that is desperately searching in the dozens of cardboard boxes for some missing parts mainly, I guess... [IMG])

Keep on having fun everybody !

    Best regards

Here is my Buick, a 1961 Electra 225 Convertible that i bougt in California in 2002. Since then it has got new interior, new top and a lot of other small things. Its funny to hear kids shout "lowrider" when you are driving in town, but it drives on standard 225/75/15.
