I'm one of those guys that never knows what I'm getting until I see it, but I've got a few cars I'm always on the lookout for. The 3 that are specifically on my list for "next" are a '60 Coupe Deville, and either a '61 Buick or Olds. I'm just into big, low, slow boats anymore, I guess....maybe I'm getting old . What's next on your list to own, or what are you always looking for or dreaming about?
Only one more on the must have list-a '68 Wildcat Coupe with factory air.....seems like the only ones I've seen for sale in the last couple of years have been either parts cars or cars in need of major restoration. Hopefully a decent example will come up for sale at some point-and not be sold before I get a chance at it!
Honestly if I had the space I'd probably seek out a 74 Buick Estate wagon. Clamshell tailgate and all. (Yea I know I'm weird.) But my real thoughts are concerning my lease which is up next year. All I know for sure I'm not leasing anymore. What to get to replace it I have no clue.
I never know till I see it. I'm right there with ya on the early 60's bubble top Buicks, Everytime I see one I salivate. That caddy is TASTY! Wifey wants a 68 or 69 Skylark (or GS), I want a GN. But who knows. I'm not planning on being in the market anytime soon as I'm focusing on some other hobbies at the moment.
I want to really would like to find another GN to restore, a project car, would love to find a 68/72 vette for cheap and would like another 98 to 02 Ws6 TA
Michael beat me to it. But my next car will be a 67 wildcat coupe. Convertible. Wouldent mind a 80's lesabre coupe, a boatail Riviera or a buick business coupe from the 30s or the 52.
I need to finish what I have waiting to be completed but I really like the look of the 65 Riviera. But I also waited to long and the prices seem to be climbing a lot on those.
like this? Since I just bought the firebird Im not supposed to think the next one but if I did A 65-66 c-10 or 67-68 c10
Like Navin Johnson: "... I don’t need anything except this Electra. And that’s it and that’s the only thing I need, is this Wildcat. I don’t need this or this. Just this ashtray. And this shift lever, the ashtray and the shift lever and that’s all I need. And this remote control mirror. The ashtray, the shift lever, and the remote control mirror, and that’s all I need. And these floor mats. The ashtray, and these floor mats, and the remote control mirror and the shift lever. And this hood. The ashtray, this shift lever and the remote control mirror and the hood and that’s all I need. And that’s all I need too. I don’t need one other thing, not one – I need this. The shift lever, and the console, and the remote control mirror, and the floor mats, for sure. And this. And that’s all I need. The ashtray, the remote control mirror, the shift lever, this intake and the console. ..."
Yessir. EXACTLY like that one. Or the one I posted...... one of those two........or a Super 88........but most likely a '60 Caddy. Or the one EXACTLY like yours......
My mind is always wondering off to the next car.. Tinkered around the idea of a CJ with a SBB to do Jeep things with the wife and her Rubicon. Then I start pricing things out and get sad.. think of another cheaper Jeep project and sketch that out on paper. Realize I don’t have any room and settle on just having another beer.
Either a 72 or 67 Riv, it won't have to be a GS, but it will have to be loaded, low mileage pristine original and a knock out color combo. I know $$$. Also, If the right Riviera Plum 66 came along with the matching interior I could be seduced
