The shifts don't really feel very hard at WOT, maybe the converter? I definitely hear the engine bog a bit on the leave. I believe I have the rev limiter set at 6000 or 6100. I will definitely move it higher.
Yes, but it won't shift. If I leave it on, it will shift to OD at 40 MPH and split 1st gear, but then when the trans shifts to 2nd, it will be in 2nd over, not 2nd. I would need to turn it off to be in second, then back on to split second. The GV doesn't shift very fast, so there just isn't enough time to do all that. That's why you really can't split all the gears, it really isn't practical. I turn it off when racing. Not sure how much HP it eats up just being there.
