Nice goin' Larry!:TU: Wish I was there, but I still have to work....another 12 years at least. So they didn't ban you from racing without a rollbar? I thought it was a 11.99 limit? Have a great Saturday!

Way to go Larry, you gotta be happier than a "pig in dirt." Is there a video of these maiden voyages?
#6: 11.67 @ 115.49 1.71 60' 14psi. :eek2: Way to go man! All that time and $$$ now seem worth it huh? And it's only a brown Buick. :Smarty:
I'm working on it, Eric Albino GOT video of the two 11.67 Runs Wanted to weigh it, but the scales were not open today. It has to be at least 4100 lbs with me in it. Coming up. Photobucket is slow to load them I should be there with Bruno.
Larry thats awesome!!!! Low 11's for sure - once you dial the whole package in.... You going to run some slicks next time?
Videos! The second part of this video is Dave from Long Island. His car is set up to race, and you can see the difference in the leave. ---------- Post added at 07:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:45 PM ---------- Not sure about slicks. I'd like to make the DR's work. Mine are old, I might need some new ones.
Not sure Alan. I no longer have the Autometer Tachometer, I have the stocker, and it is wildly inaccurate. At 60 MPH in OD, it is reading 2500 RPM, and I know from years of having that Autometer, that it should read 2150. It bounces around a lot. I tried leaving with varying amounts of high stall, and even in low stall. Sometimes it would hook initially, and then start to spin. I tried to get about half way up on the converter, and from what I could tell, that seemed to work the best. I'm not even sure I have the throttle linkage right, so the kick down switch may not be actuating, and it may be short shiftingou: I really had to rush to get this car ready for Cecil, so I'm going to say that this car has A LOT MORE IN IT FOR SURE. I'll get it sorted out for sure.
Way to go hammer! I stopped by Bruno's on Thursday to pick up some needed parts and Larry was doing some last minute tuning and swapping out his Holley. Just before I left I placed my hand on Larry's fender and did my best "Amazing Kretzkin" impression. I looked him in the eye and said "She'll run 11.69 at 117" I then said to Larry if I'm right you'll owe me dinner at something like Fridays. It was kind of a goof but we shook on it. Well you're damn lucky you had great air and squeaked out 2 hundredths better than my prediction Hammer. I think I deserve a beer for the effort though:beer.
