Anyone have a complete set of vinyl top plastic retainer clips 72 GS hard top? Used are fine, these moldings require the correct clips or they damage the stainless moldings.

Prices are depending on condition. I will get you the prices tomorrow. I use Librandi's. Let me know what moldings you need done. They been being fair to me because I've given them a good amount of work.

Talked to Todd on this and said the correct are available but not tested. Good used set may be the best route on this, anyone have a good used set?

Wow! Did not think this was a tuff request. How many Skylarks with vinyl tops were made between 1970-1972?

I have a pile of clips, but I don't know if they are for the lower side window reveal moldings or vinyl top.

The upper Brite are 3/8wide the top clips are like 11/32...I can't find my Frank's Catalog but they are readily available...used them many times they work as original

The only way to check for the correct retainers is to have eather the cross molding or the quarter panel molding and place it over top the retainer and see if it clips in using only a light press. If it doesn't clip in easy or just falls in to the molding it's the wrong one. The wrong retainers will damage the stainless molding on the under side.

I got a few parts cars with tops I'll pull a set off $40 shipped ...nothing for the clips but the labor and time

New ones are available and work just fine tho not sure what clips someone tried use that would damage the stainless steel moulding or what size hammer they uses haha

They only make two sizes of that particular clip the one for the upper Brite and the other is the one for the top
