Saw this and thought it was a great idea for anybody in the path of a hurricane that Has to stay put. In the event of a catastrophe, your pet has a chance of reuniting with you

Looks good to me! Better than doing nothing I guess... Especially if that house was built before hurricane straps were required.

Depends on how it is anchored.. it could actually work. Got to love the creative thinking, if nothing else.

If he is using mobile home anchors it could work.

PLEASE, Don't let Your Guard Down. Ike hit Galveston/ Port Bolivar area & everyone thought "It's Just a #2."
They were finding Bodies 30+ miles up Galveston Bay, in Baytown weeks later. There are still signs of Ike damage on Galveston even after Harvey.
The Idea of putting Info on Pets is a good one. But If You are staying in the area that is going to be in the path, Put Your Information on Your
    Torso As Well.
Makes it helpful for the responders to ID & notify relatives.
This is Not meant to be Nasty, or Cold Hearted, Just Factual.

Ron - Are you on one of the islands or inland? Pawleys Island?

Ron is on Pawleys Island 1 mile from the Atlantic. If it was me, my cars and I would be well inland by now. Hoping for the best.

If you see the ECMF model, which is depicted by the orange line with triangles, Florence could jog along the S.C. coast for a time. The ECMF is a very good model.

One of the storm chasers was a good follow during Harvey.
