Torque strap

    I thought I saw Briz had posted a picture of that setup somewhere during my search for this thread.

    I can search as well. Think from memory it was designed for Rivs… but WILL fit the “A” bodies.
    May have gotten the idea or even bought it from him???

    It needs to be in a neutral position.

    If the mount wasn't already separated, that would take torque stress off to prevent mount failure. If already separated, that cable setup will still let the eng jump around some.
    I use to drill thru the mount in two spots that won't interfere with clamshell frame mount, use two 1/4-20" grade bolts and lockouts just snugged down to not compress mount rubber any. Kept mount from separating and still offered the cushion of the sandwiched rubber. Was an easy fix... 4 spd, slicks, & hole shots are hard on mounts...

    That's my concern.

    While there's still a few things to button up (on the car) before New England Dragway opens next month, I'd like to check this off the list for peace of mind and other obvious reasons.
