Tired of being pulled on by newer cars...Time for a 470

    I know I read you have a hydraulic clutch in that. I have one as well. My pedal failed the same way. The little bracket was nearly snapped off after. It felt kind of funny so i took a look and saw it was deflecting. I think thats a common issue with a hydraulic conversion as I read about it a few times over the years.

    Yep, that's what happened. I have a spare pedal on the shelf, you can bet it'll get reinforced before it goes in.

    I believe it will, that 11.16 was with radial tires spinning lol, I cant imagine what this thing will do with traction

    It depended on the situation. When it happened I was usually in a situation where there was plenty of room ahead, and I could close the throttle and let it come down to a reasonable speed. In 6th gear it didn't seem to put too much strain on it. Sometimes had to drag the front brakes a little to help scrub off some speed.

    You will totally get into the 10s with that mustang. Switching to a drag radials gave me 1/2 a second on my Challenger and it was bone stock.

    Depending on weight,750 HP will get into the 9’s.

    Well that was my thought too, but I was playing it safe by saying deep 10s, so of these new cars have more on the scales than alot of ppl think
