J Pop, It was just a play on words for a football game. I know how serious/dangerous weather and flooding is. We have fought 2 - 100 year floods in Fargo and will fight another this spring that could be worse than last year.

Here is a web site with pictures from the fight!

    Ruh roh.

Looks like Favre's day may be over with 1:55 left in the 3rd.

He may go back in but I doubt he'll be 100%.

12th man the crowd the 13th man the official!!!

475 yards to 257 but 5 to 1 turnovers will kill you. Bone head move by Brett but he kept us in the game.

The pass interference call on an overthrown ball and you call that a catch after that?

The shot to Brett below the knees is illegal in most games.

In the end, I am bitter and the Colts are coming for the horseshoe thats up Drew's rearend. Second time in a row we have been booted out in overtime!

I might be better in the morning but right now I am PO'd!!!!!!!

Great interception... terrible decision to throw. :) Favre's done that his entire career.

You live in so called Brett Favre territory and they say F*** Brett Favre. Most the people around here are anti Favre for the way he has treated his family and friends he grew up with. The only people that root for him are the ones who did not grow up with him.

Pop I cried like a baby.Who Dat Brotha

It was classic Favre. He's been there, and done that. My bartender is a big Vikings fan and I bet 5.00 TWO times this year that Favre would blow the game (and he did not those weeks). I wish I had a bet this time!!!

poppaluv, i don't know what game you were watching, but the critical calls went the home team's way as usual. what a cheap shot the saints took at favre's knees, and the refs didn't call a penalty.

Manning and colts are going to destroy the Saints in two weeks!

They are lucky to get by the Viking's. If the vikes could have have crazy glue on there hands they would have won that game easy.

7 turn over in there advantage and could only win by 3 in overtime.

They will get a rude awakening when the colts charge up and down the field on them in MAIMI!:beer

    Cheers

I got no horse in this race, but....

I don't think that was a cheap shot at Favre's knees -- illegal this year, just fine every year before it. Probably should have been called by today's rules, but didn't really affect the outcome of the game. Just a guy trying to make a tackle.

The overthrown ball / pass interference call -- Iffy. But the guy interfered, the ref called that, but was downfield and might not have had the best perspective as to overthrow or not. So i can see the call being made, but it was another example of oytjer refs hating to overrule each other. happens all the time. Still, at least the call was ballpark.

The last review of the catch / non-catch -- WEAK! How can the review guy not notice the ball moving around and hitting the ground while the receiver is trying to secure it? I really hate how often the review offical can still manage to blow a call after watching videotape 20 times.

(Side note: After saying it was pretty clearly not a catch about 20 times, notice how Joe Buck hedged his bet / took the NFL line by saying "then again, from that last view it looked like a catch?" Also WEAK.

Hate to see a team jobbed like the Vikings did right at the end. Saints still might have won, but we'll never know.

One other note: How do Buck and Aikman keep blaming Favre for costing the Vikes a chance at field goal when it would have been 55 yards? The real culprit was the Viking's coaching staff getting in range for a 50 yard field goal and then running it twice instead of continuing to pass it. Very conservative play calling from 50 yards out, if you ask me. It aint like they had Tom Dempsey and his half-shoe on the sideline.
