Same car? From the 1970 auto show?

Anyone have additional photos or information about this '67 GS400 auto show car? In addition to the customer pinstriping on the hood it also has a groovy custom interior.

It is one of the three cars shown on this 8x10 b&w glossy photo that I've had for many years. It has no information about the cars or auto show.

Kind of funny they went from models in fancy ball gowns......to models with short skirts in 1 year also........you can almost tell they were really trungbto grab a totally different custoner......from high money older buyers to the younger 20s.........

I think they always were courting both buyer groups, just picked different ones for the show stage. ‘If you’re hip and young and cool (and your parents buy Buicks), come look at these GS cars!’ plus ‘you’ve arrived, Dr. Smith, come pamper yourself and the wife with this new Electra!’
It’s really cool to look at the full line brochures and see the different stories the backgrounds and characters depict. Oil well man with plans in a Wildcat. Young guys at some sort or race track with the GS, Electra at what looks like a country club…

The 1970 "Grand Sport" is custom? Cheap "custom" in some places. It has Superior super mags??? When I was sixteen and had my first car I bought Superior super mags. They were the CHEAPEST mag wheels I could find because that's all I could afford working part-time as a bagboy. Too funny!!!

Well, if Buick’s people put the Electra shield on them, they become Buick caps. They liked robbing Caddy’s parts bins; I think the armrest bases and maybe the front seats in Brad’s X show car were El Dorado bits under the groovy leather.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I would have picked a color other then blue for the rally wheels in the OP.
