Fender skirt version "on stage". No pun intended :)

What I find interesting is in the last photo, where the model is sitting in the car, you can see the bullet tips to the seat trim. This is actually the first time I have ever seen the tips in use.

What are bullet tips in seat or upholstery trim?

Found this interesting piece of info on the 68 show car. Listed as a $15K car. They also call it the original "In Car". Gives a little detail about the car like Persian Lamb Carpets.
With an inflation calculator, $15K in 1968 is $120K today.

I actually use them in my 72, it always looked unfinished without them.

Mike, the material you found ends any conversation about whether the car was Pearl or not. Thanks for posting!

We also know the car was called the "IN-CAR".
    Quite hip for the times.

Anyone know what the Engine-Cut-A-Way means under the bold lettered GS 400 BUICK?
A separate stand showing exactly a cut away BBB?

Good grief, that's like someone's middle-age dad trying to talk like the hip teens (won't breach the subject of the "cool" mom ‍♀️). If he has to say he's "in" he's definitely "square," daddy-o. But that might have been your typical GS driver of the day?

There is hope that the 68/69 GS show cars exist. Looks like GM sold the 68 Riv custom show car. This ad is from September 1968. A photo of the 68 Riv was posted in the 69 show car thread.

Mike, do you mean the '68?

Actually, both the 68 and 69 since we now know that a custom 69 Stage 1 convertible was built by GM. I posted the ad to show that GM must have sold some of the show cars as evidence by Brad's GSX and this newspaper ad. Hopefully the 68 and 69 GS's were sold and are around somewhere besides a scrap yard or turned into a metal cube.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

I've always wondered if the '67 GS400 show car still exists. Looks like Buick had a groovy white interior in it as well.
