Let's see, the last time I was in Michigan, a no-fault insurance state, I was hit three times in two weeks. No thanks.
Lets see here, hmmm... Your from ohio where the speed limit is a damn near felony and either that state don't do low income insurance , not no fault insurance but plain old cheap butt insurance or you must have full coverage because you are at a high risk! Which one or you? Down here in Arkansas, we don't have no fault insurance but very cheap insurance to keep your butt legal! Damn, I was in accident that a 92 yr old man rear ended my because he was not paying attention and my van was totaled but driveable ( parts came up more then van is worth. ) and the old man didn't get crap. My insurance and his didn't do nothing at all but bixxh at each other. Be happy your alive!!! Sincerely Gary M.
Well let's see, I rented a Jeep and was on the top of the sand dunes when idiot #1 came flying over the top on his motorcycle and literally ran right into the side of the Jeep right next to my head. Knocked himself unconcious and the park rangers hauled him away in cuffs for wreckless op. Dingdong #2 was on her cell phone and plowed her 7 month old Cadillac into the back of my truck. Luckily I had my big ass hitch for my camper still on the back. It was in the very front of her engine and we had to be pulled apart. Very little damage to my truck. And s@%t for brains #3 decided that she needed extra room at Walmart and backed into my front bumper. Claimed it was my fault because my truck was sticking out of my space. Uh huh. Every time the cops said that I needed to contact my insurance company and that they would have to pay for the damages and then they would go after the other person to pay up. What a system.
I've seen idiots in every state I've ever driven in. Some, believe it or not, were in Ohio or had Ohio plates. In fact or last insurance claim was from an out-of-state (Illinois) moron backing into my wife's vehicle. As for calling your own insurance company, that's done because here in MI, they pay so you get your car repaired with no hassle. They pursue any legal claims. No-fault insurance isn't perfect. Not everyone likes it. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
That is what Most states do, even here in Arkansas But that should not deter you from going to see some sweet street racing. Matter of fact don't Norfolk have no et grudge racing nite for street racers? Milan,mi and mid-Michigan both have this and a lot of other tracks in Michigan do it too. Check with local tracks and see if they do this, if not, have them go to youtube and punch in grudge racing and see how many states actually have this going on! I was shocked when I did looked it up! Besides that, you can find local street racers and ask them where the fast guys run so you'll be in a crowd of not so dumb of wanna be's. Sincerely Gary M.
Oh I know we're not perfect here in Ohio. I travel with the family quite a bit all over the country in our RV. It seems 96% of the time when there is some jackweed in the high speed lane being a "keeper-of-the-speed", it's some bozo from Ohio. I really wish Ohio had the law making it illegal to just cruise in the left lane.
Left lane "roadblocks" are not just in Ohio. We have more than our share. Do yours have the left blinker on , like many of ours, as well?
Not to change topic but the one thing that has always pi$$ed Me off in all My years of driving is people that think there is a fast laneou: It is a passing lane the speed limit is still the same:Smarty:
Even if you are doing the speed limit in the left lane, if a faster car comes up behind you, you are still supposed to move over into the right lane to allow them to pass. SC has signs on the interstate highways saying "Slower Traffic Keep Right". Not "Slower Traffic Keep Right Unless You Are Driving The Speed Limit".
In Connecticut it is illegal to pass on the right so a lot of times it becomes a roadblock for many miles when people do that. In Maryland it's the opposite....the left lane and middle lanes get all bunched up and then the right lane becomes the passing lane.
The passing lane is not intended for continuous driving . The driver going a little over the limit is not breaking the law or endangering the lives of those around him or his passengersuzzled:
The guy, older dude with a goatee or something, that owns the gold mustang, hell, he's quoted almost every week as saying we got to get back on the list. He keeps dumping gobs of $ into that beast and now his son has left the show...Boring!!!!
This guy was testing on the street and was supposed to appear on Street Outlaws. It was bound to happen, glad the usual crowd was not there........... http://www.dragzine.com/news/video-racer-crashes-while-testing-on-a-public-road/
Hey Guys, does anyone know how Flip passed away? I bailed out on the first season and was never able to find anything out on him?? He was a good dude from what I remember of him in the elko.
I'll tell, but NO COMMENTS after please. Flip committed suicide. A lot of things went wrong in his life. There is an R.I.P. Flip sticker in the rear window of both the Buick & Fairmont. End of discussion, PLEASE.
