    Topcat Got TORQUE?

......how high will it go ? I sure do miss the $2.00 a gallon gas......gave me a lot more spending money for other things.....dangit.
Lots of my friends say that if it reaches $5.00 and they are spending $50-$60 to fill up the 10-12 gallon tanks in their economy cars they are gonna cut back on a lot of their entertainment and eating out....

    Peace WildBill

p.s......please keep the politics out of this one boys.....

Went by a couple of stations here today and they were at 3.99 also. I don't put to many miles on so it's not an issue for me. However the wife has a 130 mile round trip to work 3 days a week. She will feel it.

Bitchasses here have it at 4.59 Chicago metro. Last year tho I remember paying 6.50 for 93 at the pumps.

It went to $3.89 here a couple weeks ago. I've heard several reasons, but we'll never know really why. Wish I had oil co stocks - bet their dividends will be pretty good this year.

I’ve seen it in Georgia anywhere from $3.30 to $3.79.

Went up 10 cents/litre here last week due to a new tax. Current pump price is $1.65/litre or $7.49/gallon Cdn.
I don't drive much these days, and never eat out.

I guess that's not too bad considering the power plants are running full blast. They set records several days last week for power production, I'm surprised we're not having brown-outs.

Here is Saskatchewan where we are the fuel is 169.9 cents, a litre (679.6 C US gallon). Yup, hard to take, especially pulling a 31 foot travel trailer

End of summer travel season and the Fall blend of fuel starting up limits current supply. That bumps prices up. Should drop and stabilize in October I would think.

Then they will bleed us dry.

Anyway, on a lighter note, did anybody ever use the VP octane concentrate I made on 100 octane fuel today out of 5 gallons. 93 supreme I could make a difference comment, but I don’t want to get the thread locked. IMG_2442.jpeg IMG_2443.jpeg

Diesel dropped below $4/gal here in Central NY for the first time in a long time. That didn't last long. It was 2.85 when I bought a diesel truck in 2018 and was around that price for quite some time.
