Ineterested in 1x4 intake. Would like to know performance impact and height of carb flange with respect to stock 1x4 manifold. Hood clearance is tight with stock manifold, 750 CFM Edelbrock, and low profile 3" tall air cleaner assy. Air cleaner is spaced 1/2" above carb to clear throttle linkage. I am not too concerned with the weight reduction aspect. I am more interested in performance improvement and visual impact. Thanks again.
stock intake is 3.56 in. EELCO 2x4 is 4.125 minus the .500 Marty said, then it would be 3.625 in. that would be about a 16th of a inch taller. or are you talking stock height Marty?
All I can think of is the old saying that goes, "Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!" I'll make an intake before I have another dealing with Marty. How quickly some forget... a quick search on the board or google should enlighten some on Eelco and Marty Lackner.
