Not really sure but it is a wonderfull copper color it was painted 20+ years ago buy the guy before the guy i bought it from Ken Looking for a 64-65 Sportwagon in good condition as well
Found a 65 Sportwagon should have the deal done and paid for Feb 23 woohooo   :kodak:  Ken
If I get some touch up made they have a camera that can give me a formula for the color and I will post it when i do that Ken
I went to my local paint supplier and did just that. He took 4 different pics of the car :kodak: in different places and viola:Brow: , I got a quart of their finest paint to match my original color. Like 80 bucks or so.
Y can see my 65 Skylark in the current issue of Popular hotrodding in the under Construction section. Here is the final rendering of what it will be.
Love that rendering Phil. What did you decide to power the car with? I see the name turbolark. Who is doing the build?
You know I always wanted someone like Chip Foose to do a rendering like that. Who did the drawing? If I might ask. And are you going with GN engine set up? There are a few guys on this site that did just that, and they look incredible!!!!!
Renderings were done by Kris Horton, Cars By Kris. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm going with a SBC for this. i have the parts, so thats what it gets. I plan to do as much as possible myself, motor, suspension fab, trans rebuild, some interior.
I just got back from the Body Shop! It is looking fantastic. As soon as I can get out there with my trailer its coming home for Nailhead+4-speed installation! This came out wicked good...Paint is 67 Riviera Charcoal Grey. The green wall almost makes it look like Sea Foam Green-I did consider that color too.
Shiney!:TU: I bet it even smells nice. Can't wait to see some pics of the car in the daylight. (hint, hint) There's something about a project in fresh paint that is almost magical... Enjoy the moment :beers2:
