Eric, the 350 heads have been fully ported work and big valves but I'm sure the valves were not back cut, I didn't do these set of heads... I bought them used but they look really good...
Your stall should work out good as long as your rear gears is better than stock..

Sean, the vids are on my I-phone, there's about 8 of them I could send you 3 of the best..or less,..to you phone or e-mail... if that works,..I have to learn how to do this stuff...
Do I have to download these to you tube first...:Do No:...lol

    Great stuff!

Doesn't sound like you're shifting much past 5500. 5600-5700? Stalling around 2600-2700? (trying to test my ear)

Gary, in the last video he was at 2500 stall and shifts were 5700... rev limiter at 6000,.... shift light set at 5500..

The last 3 runs of the night were very smiliar to the last video when he hit the 102 mph..and I told him to start leaning on the converter at that time...

Was spinning the last 3 runs,..

This year I'm going to bump the shift at 6000 and rev limiter at 6200,... and maybe run a 26" tall sticky tire just to get it moving faster off the line...also making frt. suspension adj. too... Hope the Old stock bottom end holds up...:Brow:

    Should be fun this summer..

Cool. Maybe it was the flashing I was hearing that made it sound a little higher than 2500? Nice to know my ear wasn't too far off. Kinda hard to tell in video though, but I guess the sound gets into your blood and you never lose it. (I used to rev the heck out of my stock 350's on a daily basis--which both held up very well)

Seems by the launch that stall could stand to be a little higher with better grip for no wheelspin, judging by the way the engine 'felt' by its sound below 3000 RPM. I also 'felt' the engine could have been shifted higher by the way it sounded. It was revving great and sounded like you could get a few hundred more RPM out of it.

Sounds like you got it figured out. I'm sure you'll have tons of fun this summer! :)

Bottom end should hold up as long as you don't push it past 6200. :TU:

    Best wishes.

I tested the car before I put Chan in the drivers seat and new the car would try to creep through the brakes at 2500, it would then flash and lock up at 3300-3400 rpm, the conv. is to tight for this combo..
The car needs to be in a more relaxed position at a higher stall so it can transfer weight better... so a 4000- 4500 conv..too much.., I have to leave it like it is for the drivability for 18 yr old on the street...

So we will play with other things to get the better ET,.. I still want to put the 750 holley DP back on after I fix it " milled airhorn DP "... and I might pick up a 800 holley DP thats for sale by my house and try it... Also I just picked up a 2 1/2 Flowmaster H pipe exhaust system with 15" long FM bullet's, LOL.. all for $50.00,.. my son can't wait to hear those,..

    thanks again, jerrold,

I think the whole package is doing great as is. With a couple tweaks like you said and you'll be in the 12's I bet. That's pretty quick for a Buick 350 in a full A body car.

Good job! We'll all be anxious to hear about how it does in the summer (when it finally gets here).
