Yes, a couple of runs. Low 14s--14.3 I believe.

    Hey, Chris
I like this pic of my car better. (Also from Lance's site) More "representative" of my car...
Also, thanks to Lance for such great coverage.

Cool nick! What gears are you running? I would like to get my GS455 to run similar times, but want it to still be drivable around town too. The motor seems pretty tight, so I think it would be a matter of a good tune up and some gearing. Want me to resize one of these pictures for your avatar?:Brow:

3:55 gears from a '69 GTO. 3000 rpm at 60 mph. Stock '74 low compression short block with 70 heads and intake. TA 212 cam as stated earlier. No lope unless I get it to idle down to like 500 rpm. 800 cfm Q-jet by John Osborne. 2-1/2" TA exhaust w/ Walker Super Dynomax. Most importatnly, Hoosier Quick Time Pros.
Thanks on the avatar offer. I'm waiting to get a good side shot when I develop my film and use that. I assume my photo editor will reduce it down.

So I take it there were no 65, 66 or 67 GSs at the nats this year?

Nope, sorry I don't! I guess it's too late to think about taking a picture of the information sheet on the dash! :Dou:
