beautiful I love that car. It has the same color combo as my GS. With all the options, I was surprised it had no N-25. BTW, the original window sticker stated 8K+. How can that be right?
Thanks Brett This is the car that was written about in the article in the BPG Buildsheet. Great Story. The invoice was actually where this car was traded for a 72 Cadillac. We finished the restoration and detailing the night before the show. A lot of help from everyone on this one....All the guys at our restoration company, (Then and Now) www.carstorations.com , Rick,David, R.J., Ken, Mike and Zach. Along with Darren Edmonds, Don McIntosh and a bunch of great suppliers. Hope you enjoy the pictures, Mark
The owner is Johnny Hardy of Hiram, Ga. He is a BPG member also. Mark I am sending a picture of the car before restoration.
Jim, No this is the one we were building for him at the time. That is why he sold/traded the other car. Check out the buickstreet article and it explains the 2 cars. By the way, how much does a performance chip run for my 2002 duramax? The picture in my avatar is the other one. Mark
i've been going to the nats since "97 and this one seemed to have the lowest turnout, exspecially the show. its too bad things have gone so far down hill and i hope they turn things around. i'd hate to see the nats go the way of the dodo(extinct). politics aside the GSCA has done a lot for our hobby. remember the BPG and the GSCA are brothers fighting for the same cause BUICK PERFORMANCE :beer
Brett thats Dick Johnstons car piloted and built by Warren Heaps, its painted black now. they were a no show at the nats this year.
