396 Chevelle SS for sure. Sure the 375 horse version ran good but the vast majority were 325 horse. Tons of them sold. Low 15 sec car. Ohhh a big block watch out. No!!!!Barely spin the tires.....

I could take them out with my GS350. :3gears:

All Hemi's, not that there's anything wrong with them but they define overrated.
While not really muscle cars Camaro's!! and 65,66,67 mustangs were way overrated. Those things drove like old ford trucks.

  4. Thinking about it, just about any car can be considered "overrated" by someone. Now if you're talking factory performance, that's different. I'll only take that point of view, because when cars get modified then things get too blurry.

In that sense my vote for the most overrated musclecar is the fox body mustang. Everyone has them and raves about the "5-oh!". Sure, they're quick, but there's just so many other cars that can beat it. Plus everyone has one, so they've been done. Big deal I say!

The one exception to this is the SVO Mustang, which had the same power as a GT and could outhandle one anyday. All this with less than half the engine displacement, they'd run circles around many cars of the day. But because it's not the "5-oh" I'd say that's one of the most underrated cars, ever.
