Nowadays,what do you think are the ugliest cars? What do you think are the ugliest cars built today? My first vote would be the Honda Element-my second vote would be the Nissan Murano. I don't know how some of these designers come up with these truly ugly cars. What do you think are some other ugly cars?
The new durango. What a piece. On a slightly related note, I'm beginning to dislike motortrend magazine. In the recent SUV review they crybaby about the Tahoes "aging" design, but I like the boxy, muscular look. They shouldnt look like a damn japnese piece of crap.

Possibly you mean the Pontiac AZTEC? The Avalanche is a Chevy truck. Speaking of, the Avalanche can be had without all the plastic cladding now. Much better. As for the ugliest car now I'd say GM corners the market for uglys. The SSR, Pontiac Aztec, Chevy Monte Carlo and Impala.
There are so many these days. One that comes to mind is the Mitsubitchi Montero. I too agree about the Durango. That WAS a fairly decent looking truck until the recent ummm...er....facelift.
The newer Mercedes SUV, that we like to refer to as "Der Schiesten Kraten" or if you prefer "The S___ Box". Also some Honda SUV (don't know the name) POS that our 4 year old likes to call the ugly box car. Beth

Those and the Avalanche's look like 2 flies having intercourse.p Sad part is that the Buick Rendezvous is nearly as bad, another sad reminder of what these idiots expect us to drive. The ground clearance on those monstrosities can't be more than about 5" when you look them from behind. :rant:
1. Honda Element 2. Dodge Durango 3. Pontiac Aztec 4. Toyota Matrix......YUCK! I have to agree with this list. The avalache does not look bad without all that plastic. As for the Chevy SSR, looks awesome with the top UP, with the top down on ugly mother:eek2:
I concur with this list, but acres and acres of cheap gray plastic(that will really look good in 5 years when it begins to chaulk) definitely put the avalanche on the list. I looked at the SSR in the showroom the other day, and the first thing I noticed was that the retro interior was cool with the round gauges and switches, then they put the standard square radio in the middle of the dash. As usual GM does another vehicle half-a$$ed. Also $46k for a truck that is not really fast, and can only hold a couple of golf bags and a case of beer is too much.
I never thought of that, how much worse that black plastic crap is really going to look in a few years. I can only imagine the rust that will result underneath it from condensation and salt penetration.
Re: Nowadays,what do you think are the ugliest cars? I agree with both of those. I don't like the Element or any of the other "Did they forget to finish painting it?" looking cars. Strange thing about the Murano is that I love the looks of its Infiniti version the FX. I would love to have one of those if I were in the market.

All the new Nissan's are gut wrenching ugly, cars included. I wanted to use a puking smiley here but can't find one to copy.:grin: This guy will have to do.:moonu:
If it is covered with plastic, I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that rules out the ealier Avalanche, Aztec and the Honda Element. As for the Nissans, especially the Murano, I like most of them.
