And my wife had a fit when I bought an NOS electric clock for my 442 for $75?

The chances of my buying a $700 rad. cap are about equal to hitting a $300 MM lottery pot (and it would take a win like that to spend that on a rad. cap).

I hope that my case of Buick fever never gets that serious. What kind of person would lay down that kind of dough for these kinds of parts?

I guess these guys prove that it IS possible for one to have more money than good sense.

Bummer, I've got one of those that was NOS until about a year ago. my pop had it in his tool-box since sometime before 1978 when he left a chevy dealership. he gave it to me and I put it on my car. It still looks almost new though....

:( I'm pretty sure that is CARS in NJ, yes that CARS, and that they a repro's. That is what he has them for in his catalog.

I'm going to the wrecking yard tomorrow and I'm going to scrape the grease off all the GM spindles, repackage it and sell it as "good, near NOS, survivor wheel bearing grease". Surely I could get a couple hundred for that! Patton
