My opinion would be to talk with David at Nitrous supply personally, he is breaking records with his tune on his and other manufacturer's plates, that alone would get my attention. David is on facebook under nitrousbullet forums, He works on peoples cars from top end people to people like us. He is full of Nitrous knowledge .. Let me know I'll be proud to let him know about your street sleeper. Your car will be scary fast when tells you exactly what fuel psi to jets to use to your set up and tell you if you need to up grade if it all. He did wonders for a friend of mine. From 9.50's to Low 9.30's without changing any parts but fuel pressure ;-) Sincerely Gary M.
Howdy Mounty! I will hit the dyno first, try to get new rear before the track, as no good can come of this with the 2.70 in the car now... Stay tuned..no pun intended...:Brow:
Nitrous is a blast on the street and the track. A properly planned and built setup will work great for as long as anything else to build. As with anything, use it appropriately and within the tolerances of the build and have fun; abuse it and spend money fixing blown up engines. Just like anything, spend the time designing the entire system and to the application, and spend the right money up front for long lived fun. I know the smile on a face when hitting 3grand WOT and taking off like a missle... There are many things that can go wrong when juicing, which is why we hear of the bad stories. Keep it in tune and tell great stories. For the money, I don't see a more affordable power adder dollar per Tq/Hp point. I have not hit it yet on the new engine. I am waiting for a few more miles on it and a chasis dyno tune session to dial in inital setting. You will like the extra 90 hp of boost. I have the smallest jets in I could use and it is supposed to net me 80 more rwhp I went from a 13.98@94 to a 12.42@105 with that 75 shot. The jets I am using are in the 40's. Engine does seem to like nitrous.
I opted to start with .047" N20 and .043" Fuel for the 100 shot. I have about 20 jets sizes to play with once in the mood...
Just finished my 350 build... Ported heads. Headers. Sp3 intake, qjet, 3.73s, im already impressed how it woke up.. But i have a plate kit sitting there and will definitly slap it on soon Gesendet von meinem D6503 mit Tapatalk
