Jim I am interested in these- 1 Set new in box 350 TRW cast pistons- never used, bought them but went another way with the build. .030 over - These are the PN 340 P units, and Flatlander racing list them at $39 each, sold in sets only ($312).. A screaming deal at $225 PM sent
I do believe I still have them, just finished a project and I will to cleaning the shop this morning, I will check on them for you. JW ---------- Post added at 06:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:53 AM ---------- I did look Tony.. sorry that motor is a 68, so no cap screw rods.. JW
Jim I know this is an old thread, but any chance you have any L2353F's still laying around?In"30"over.Jeff
Ron, Took a closer look at those .040 over pistons.. they are for a 455. I do have a set of brand new Badger P523 Cast pistons for the 430, in .060 over. That over bore in a 430 is typically not a problem. $250 for the pistons and pins. JW ---------- Post added at 01:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:54 PM ---------- Yes, I have 3 single TRW forged pistons remaining. 2 2353F in .030- 1 is premo, the other has a little scuff and some light impressions from junk in the cylinder on the crown of the piston. And I have 1 L2255F, in STD bore.. this is the long discontinued TRW Forged piston for the 430. I have one very nice one here, used, but in good condition. Could be tough to find that one, if you needed just one. JW
I will take the 2 2353's as long as in your opinion the one with the scuff will be OK to run.(I trust your opinion highly)I bought some off e-bay years ago but,not the whole set as some were damaged..The motor these are for will not be more than a mild street build.Larry Moore at Mexico Performance has my 430 heads now installing Stage one valves and light porting.I am pretty sure I need 3 pistons, but with your 2 I am that much closer.I will give you a call tomorrow.Jeff
Jeff, Looks like the skirt on the one has about .003 wear on it, so we will say I have just the one. You can buy those indiviudally, about $55 each. I can get them for you anytime. ---------- Post added at 11:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:08 AM ---------- Nope that set was sold a while ago. I did run across another set of stockers with ARP bolts in the, but I have to clean them up inspect them to see if they are useable as is. I will let you know. JW
Well I would still be interested in the one you do have(I'm cheap and on a budget).I saw that I could still buy them new, just trying to save a few bucks. What would it cost me to own the one you have including a one way trip to St.James,mo,65559.Jeff
