Hi Jim, I will take the 2362's w/o valve reliefs. Please send me the payment info. There's a possibility I can have a friend of my dad's stop by and pick them up so you wouldn't have to ship them. Thanks, Tim
Joe, I do have a set of recondtioned stock rods.. this particular set was done here, so the quality of work is known.. I put them in a motor with Wiseco pistons about 3 years ago.. ran the motor on the dyno, and then in the car, and with that particular compression/cam/manifold combo, the piston slap was too much to bear.. I took that thing apart, and swapped in a set of SRP's I had, that were already hung on reconditioned stock rods. So I ended up with this extra set. They have ARP bolts in them, were recondtioned on the big end, magged, and the small end checked.. and of course, I pick thru the cores to begin with, to get a good set. It's round about $300 to get a set of select cores, buy the bolts, and do the work.. I will let this set go for $150, if your interested. They have dyno time, and maybe 20 miles on them. They also have what appears to be a serviceable set of .010 rod bearings in them. Let me know.. Ken- Sorry, came up dry on the 2353 in Std.. JW
You need to hire a different moving crew - or start one of them cable channel reality shows ... Minnesota Movers ? o No: ou: :beers2:
Ok I'll take them Jim with the rod bearings if thats ok. You think you could ship them out today? Let me know easiest payment for you.
Joe, you can paypal at jim@trishieldperformance.com or call me with a CC number 612-532-2207 They will ship usps in a medium flat rate box so shipping is $12, and your total is 162.00 It will be tomorrow before I can get them out, you should have them the middle of next week. I have a meeting in town this afternoon that I have to leave for here in the next few minutes, but will be available by phone for payment, if you like. JW
Ok Jim I'll give you a call later tonight or early tomorrow morning and give you the CC number. Thanks again.
Jim would you happen to have any hydraulic cams that are in real good shape that were lying around? I got a new poston 108 solid with my build that I don't want to use so I'm looking for a hydraulic, nice middle of the road piece. Maybe .490-.525 lift
Interested in 430 piston. Can you post a picture of them are they 38 or 40 over and do they have ring's on them? Thanks Ron
Hello Ron, Here are the 430 pistons.. they are .040 over, and have rings on them, and the rods have what appears to be standard size rod bearings in them. This motor was never run, but was turned over in the car, trying to start it after it had sat for a period of time after a rebuild by another local shop. Ended up that I didn't like what the cylinder walls looked like, so we re-bored it for a .060 piston, ground his crank, and did a set of rods for him, so I just took these out and put them on the shelf. Let me know if you want these. JW
Here are some pictures of the NOS 455 pistons.. Standard bore, out of a 71 up service replacement shortblock. I took these out because we put forged pistons in that one. $100 for the set of 8 with pins.. JW
They certainly visually look the same, I would have to measure them to be sure, but they did come out of a 74 vintage service replacement shortblock. JW
