Rick, the box arrived a few days ago....looked like it was at 80psi or on steroids.....opened it up to find a
RED W.O.T. hoodie in medium i was'nt expecting....

Yes, My friend there will be a Gus poster in College Station Texas after the Christmas break. Thanks for the surprise :TU: It definately made my day.

The next to last day of taking orders, one of the Rivi guys asked about hoodies. I figured what the hell, I'll ask. Sure enough they could make them. My girls jumped on them and I figured a college girl could use one. I would have offered them to the team but it would have opened up a whole bag of administrative headaches. I did have one XL hoody of every shirt (except #7) made for ebay.

HEADS UP

It has been brought to my attention that some of the medallions are a little off center on the backs of the shirts. It really is a downer after all the effort that went into this and all the nice compliments. I thought it was an isolated instance, but my daughter was wearing her red shirt last night and I could tell it was off center. I don't know if I would have noticed had I not been looking for it. I looked at several other shirts and it seems to be sporatic.

There was also discussion of the #3 shirt front being offcenter. The entire image is centered on the shirt. The "W" and the "T" do not take up the same amount of space even though they are the same font and pitch and then it is italicized to add to it. Unfortunately the aircleaner is the focal point and catches the eye and makes it look off center. I learned something here!

I have to admit I'm pretty tired of dealing with T-shirts right now, so I didn't look any further and I haven't even called the T-Shirt guy to complain as I don't know the extent of the situation. Even if he agreed to rerun them (we're talking $4K plus worth of Tshirts) there is close to $400 in postage and then all the packing cost and mailing time that would be incurred to "do it all over again".

If I get the guy to refund some money how do I divide it up? Again we're talking administrative hell. I have a well detailed spreadsheet that I could allocate the refunds based upon total dollars spent by each person but then I'm writing checks and mailing them or paying paypal fees.

There are numerous people who spent over $100 and several over $200. These are not small $'s here. In any event, if you are unhappy with your shirts I will refund your money; no questions asked. You can send me a PM and no one will know. I will completely understand.

Mine are fine but even if they were a bit off I'd still keep them.I really like the fact that they are a rather short production run,not that many out there(kind of like our Buicks).Look for some prizes for people coming to the Spring Charlotte Auto Fair and stopping by my spots wearing any of the W.O.T. shirts,centered or not:TU: .

 

Thank you for all the work putting these shirts together, ordering, and shipping. They look great, can't wait to show them off at car shows and swap meets! Your shipping and packaging was the best. My wife thought it was Christmas present for her, I played along and came out of the laundry room wearing a red WILDCAT shirt. Thanks again. How about WOT stickers?
