I seem to remember a guy that wanted to use a certain "good bodyshop" and was even given a month to bring said vehicle to his shop. Somehow when the time came the owner of this vehicle was never given the go ahead to bring it to that shop and after being put off and moved back for other customers for more than a year, had it painted elsewhere. Even good bodyshops will screw a customer who isn't "in the clique"
Usally small claims court will not assist you in retreving your cash. So even though you win, good luck, what do you do, people usally move away.
Hey Guys sorry about not updating this and let you all know. I took shop to court and the judge ruled for me and ordered him to pay me the 3000 that I had ask for from him. I received a check and cashed and wound up buying a 70 chevelle to play with. I had a couple painters look at it and most said they could get about 90% of it out with some wet sanding and polishing. So I'm in the process of doing paint and body work on the chevelle myself. so hopefully it comes out better then the Buick did. thanks for all the help from everybody Josh
Well the name of the shop is Echo Auto Craft. I will try to post some pics of the chevelle. Thinking about selling the Buick and trying to start building a shop. But probably wouldn't get what I would need out of it so it is sitting in storage for now.
Like the Chevelle! :TU: Good work and way to stick up for yourself. We need to get together sometime...maybe we can get Daryl to come along with us. John
I agree John we all need to hook up. This spring they will have the down town Cruz in Topeka you guys should plan on coming.
