Yes that would be awesome to have a sneak peek... but I know you'll make us wait for the show to air!:bla:

Very nice, I thought you said on the q-jet episode that you were going to put the rebuilt carb on your GS? Maybe I heard wrong. Louie
I think Tommy said it was off a Buick GS... not that it was his... And Tommy, tks for posting pictures! Love the Riv man I think its so damn cool you keep coming back to keep us updated cheers to you! (and cant forget Rick!) :beer
They've got the episode listed on the website but if you click on it you see the older episode. I would love to see this one.
Finally a NEW Episode on the Buick project!! Blue Collar Engine Compartment Makeover August 08, 2010 (Episode: MC2010-15) Project Blue Collar Buick gets an amazing under-hood transformation that's cheap and easy to achieve. The big-block 455 Buick engine roars to life for the first time...
still in primer, but now it at least runs. I was a bit concered about running it with the tork converter unhooked like they did uzzled:
yeah I thought that was strange too... but when properly installed the converter can be pushed back in away from the flywheel so there should be no intererence. Was cool for me to see the frame pads go in as Im gonna be doing that at some point. The motor started real easy.. just like the one I have on my stand... I practically guessed at timing, a bit of gas and vroom! Sounded good too... Engine bay cleaned up nicely too. I think someone called them on the Chevy trans earlier in this thread and they were right, an adapter to bolt it to the 455 seemed easy enough Looks good Tommy/Rick... wish this project was on every weekend :beers2:
hey you guys better keep watchin, a sneek peak is coming up.... we are currently done and fixin to start our new season with more to come with the buick. oh yea we came in under budget. including paint, wheels, interior, engine and trans, and plus the upgrades...
Tommy.. what are you talking about LOL o No:  Ah I see that text in the quick reply box at the bottom of the page... not sure what happened but maybe you were trying to quote another post...
WooHoo! Thanks for the heads up Tommy! Great news on the "under budget" part. Does that mean there's money in the bank for next year's upgrades? :Brow: This weekend: Blue Collar Air Cleaner and Gas Tank August 29, 2010 (Episode: MC2010-17)Rick and Tommy design and build a trick custom air cleaner for Blue Collar Buick, and Rick shows his flair with the air brush to finish it out. Tommy shows how to clean and seal an old gas tank. Flashback showcases a '70 1/2 King Cobra Super Spoiler prototype.
