I've been watching the Buick build episodes too. I'm liking the premise of this build. Since my first engine rebuild was a low buck '72 455 in my Centurion. Can't wait to see the rest of the project unfold and thanks Tommy for chiming in.

i just watched it today, what a stinker. they devoted the whole show on modifying the bumpers and changing the door handles.:Dou:

True ! But i do admire their skills. Think about how hard some of that cutting and rewelding COULD be? OY !!

The front does look a lot cleaner. But I want to see the rear end complete before I "judge". So far it's looking LeMans or Impala - making it look less Buick.

    Im with you Joe
The front cleaned up really well. I was amazed the difference it made. Love it.

great idea on the door handles, but I would have went with a painted handle that was similar to the original, to make the change more subttle, The round shape of the flush ones used were a bit too much for me.

I think the rear is gonna look very cool too if they come up with some lenses that dont have a home made look, but I have faith in them.

I just wish the show could be all Buick build stuff and 3 hrs / day! LOL
Im very anxious for the next show!

    Keep us posted Tommy!

I've used them on several of my engines, when installed properly they work well
