OK, I have all my ducks in a row (I think) and will be taking off tomorrow morning about 6 am. Will be starting the convoy in Lewisville at 7 am and the convoy will get bigger south of downtown Dallas. Should be in Temple by 9:30 to 10.

I'm bringing the digital camera so I can get some good pics of the event. I'll try to get a pic of everyones car at least once. Can't wait to meet everyone and see all the Buicks.

    See all of you tomorrow.:bglasses:

Well, it looks like I won't be coming. I have a nasty case of hives, and I think they'll probably still be with me tomorrow. Say some prayers...if they're gone in the morning, I'll be on the road around 0800. Dan

The Lonestar star buick performance club also recieved some new members from this outing. There will be a feature article in the BPG Buildsheet if you are intrested in more info.

    What a great time!!!

What a good time. This will have to be an annual meet. Talk about a great group of people out, and a great mix of cars.

I can't wait till next year!!! I had a great time on the track for the first time in my life. My wife is afraid that I have a new 'bug' for racing. I guess so when you come home talking about a new posi unit and slicks!

I would like to say a big thanks to Phil for making this happen and the BPG for helping out with the event. Also to the others that help get this thing a great turnout. The BPG gave away some memberships, but I didn't win.... so, I joined right there on the spot with John Schmidt. He was a great guy to meet, and certainly fun to see his Opel close up. I even won a membership to the Lone Star Performance Buick Club. :TU:

    Absolutely Fantastic

I think everyone had a great time and it should be even bigger and better next year. And John's Opel is every bit as cool as I imagined it:TU: What a cool car...

As you may know John Schmidt is on his way to L.V. for the Oct 3/4 event, and then will bee line back home for a day and refuel to get to the Cecil County Maryland event! I think he gets the long hual award!! hope all had fun and hope to eventually meet all you great folks, Go BPG!!

    Where to start......

What an event. :beer Hoping that this really becomes an annual event. I met some wonderful people, and like previously stated, it was nice to put a face to the name. Phil and David, major props to you guys for making it all possible:TU: And David.... Man....I dont know what to say about you..... To put your trust in me to take that sweet ride down there. And on top of that, to allow me the opportunity to take it down that scenic narrow little 1/4...... wont be soon forgotten. You da man David!TU: :TU: :TU: Other than knocking your OWN car out in eliminations, all went perfect. And to all the others that I met hope to see you all again:beer . Mark {who grilled and got burned....sun that is}, thanks for the grub. Could go on and on, but will spare everyone. THANKS ALL! Now I just gotta go:sleep:
