I threatened him with hog tieing him to a tree about 10pm at night. then popping the chevy intake off and getting charcoal to cook some dogs in the intake valley. he laughed I asked him about a buick motor he said he found a 73 455 for it. He said everyone has been on his case about it. He also is from austin. But without people like him we would have no one to bash.:spank: As for pics between me and captain mark I think we have you covered dave. What kind of internet do you have? can you handle a big email If not I will burn a disk and mail it to you.
Thanks from Houston! Just wanted to say 'Thanks' to Phil and others who worked to put this event together. It was a BLAST and fun to boot! In particular getting to meet and fellowship with other Buick enthusiasts. My son & I didn't wind up in any head-to-head competition with our GS's, but he did have a faster ET (by a few hundredths) than me... Maybe a father / son grudge match in the future??? BTW, if anyone got any good pics of the old nailhead GS going down the track, send 'em to me. Have a cable modem so size won't matter. Congrats to Nick Sloop for going the fartherest in the elims! Steve
I have a lot of pics from the weekend, but this may be my favorite. Here is a big Buick fan. Jeff's good puppy dog loves riding in the back of his Buick! Sorry Dee, I didn't get a shot of your baby.
Thanks to all involved in this wonderful event, especially Phil, and John Schmidt for coming and representing the BPG. Thanks to the BPG and Lone Star folks for paying for my trip!! :beer And also thanks to EVERYONE who showed up, because it's everyone there that makes the event special. Can't wait for next time!!! P.S. There's a $1000 no electronics race at the home track in two weeks. Hmmmmmmmm....... I think I'm getting greedy!!!! LOL
