Hey Dan, Thanks for the tire size info. Do you get any rub? That is an awesome stance! I hope to get close to that with my '67, but I will be trying to make sure that the fender skirts still fit. I see you were probably at a Turkey Rod Run at Daytona. Are you going this year? I will be there. Best Wishes, Joe M.
Viper red '66 GS that belongs to a family friend...I've told him about this site before but he hasn't signed up yet:
Thanks Alan! Well a lot of progess has been made on the interior. The body and trim still need ALOT more progress. The car shows well in the pics and even in person, IF, you stand several feet away from it. All I can say is, Thank God for white paint!
Joe M. The wheel well trim on the front was curled up inside the fender to give more clearance. On rare occasions I'll get a little rub and have to curl it back up. I will be at Turkey Run on Friday only. If you want to take a car in the infield you have to get there early. I missed last year, but the year before I had a friend get there a little after 9am and the infield was full. Dan
Thanks for the motivation! I finally got off my a** and replaced the bushing-less upper control arms that caused me to ground my bird about four years ago. looking through receipts, I realized I'd only put 11,000 miles on the totally rebuilt engine when I parked it. Of course, now I've got to redo the brakes and replace a dead battery too, but it feels good to be making progress after so long.
Those are 2 sweet pictures. You should get them blown up and make posters out of them. :TU: :kodak: :TU: :kodak: :TU:

I was fortunate enough to see this car in person a couple of years ago, and it is one stunning example. I think I have a couple of pics somewhere.:Brow: I was sooo jealous at the time, (and I still am:grin: )
Jim Karnes and Harvey (GS-XNR), What are the colours of your respective cars called? Love all the pics. You guys have the BEST rides! ...btw, my avatar is a '67 GS. Bob
