Thanks 17x8 4.5 backspace w/235-60 rear 17x7 4 inch backspace w/225-60 front In retrospect I should of went with more backspace front and rear. The back clears but I have the narrower "65/66 rear. The front is the most you could get in this wheel and it rubs occasionaly. The car sits pretty low so I may raise it an inch. I think the disc brakes on the front moved the wheels out a bit.
This car is no longer mine, but I spent 3 1/2 years on a full body off rotisserie restoration. It now belongs to another board member. I was very sad to see it go, but I got my 71 GS X'd in return so I'm still a happy Buick owner. I think this is the only car I've owned that I could call "pretty". Harvey
Here's the most recent picture of my 67 Skylark. It's got a 70 Lesabre 350, 700r4 Tranny, and a 3.42 posi rear out of an 81 Cutlass. GN wheels with polished lip and spokes. I've got a 76 Riviera 455 on the engine stand awaiting a rebuild. -Josh
