I fogot my camera ou: but saw Michael taking lots of pics. For those who missed it, there was a veritable sea of ragtops, a dual-quad nailhead Henry J race car, a turbo Buick powered Chevy, a real Ford GT40 (I think), assorted RARE big Buicks, and GS's from almost every year (I didn't see any 68-69 cars, but maybe I missed them). Oh, and did I forget to mention Jim's collection? I will have to wait for the pic's. The food was fabulous and plentiful (who made those crab bites?) with Bob at the grill attempting to break his record for uninterrupted grilling (was that nine hours straight?) Thank you Jim, and all who made it a great event. David O.
I had a good time. Missed most of the NE crew who fell on hard times. Thanks again Jimmy for the food and hospitality.
wanted to be there also but it was the last day of my parents vaca. whom were up from fla. maybe next year.
Wow Jim, I just watched your videos on Youtube.... Hillarious! You gotta nice camp there! :TU:
I think Eric Stoldt and I got the long distance award this year. I brought the Riv GS up there. The old girl did'nt miss a beat. 460 miles round trip averaging 75 mpg. And I still managed 15.3 mpg! I had a great time as usual. Jim puts on a great BBQ. Thanks Jim!!!:beer Here's a couple of pics Eric took from the ride home

BIG thanks Jim !!! nice cars , nice people, good food and beer, and nice weather !! so fortunate to be part of your pary , thanks again !!! and yes I won't forget about searching a french '66 ... I had to leave a little early (to my taste), I didn't thank all the nice people I had a chat with. Sorry for that, seems I didn't see the time roll by.. If one of you ever make it to France, please tell me about it, my door's open. :beers2:
Nope! I drove 600+ round trip in my '66 Special. And Mike and his son Jeff are STILL driving home to IDAHO in the GN they bought in NY! I had a good ride, only hassle was the Mass turnpike and NYC Tappen Zee bridge traffic on the way home. 5 hours up, 6.5 back. Just turned 69,000 on the ole girl.:TU: George, I would've liked to have caravaned up with you guys, but I lost my net connection on Friday....I don't know how I could've met up with you guys without Mapquest...I felt helpless! Sorry to hear you guys couldn't make it. And Jimmy, good to see you again, and thanks for your hospitality:TU: Even my Special got the first class treatment by spending the night in your Buick Barn with all those sweet 66 GS's! Nice to meet all of you, see you next time!:beers2:
