I'd love to.... Just too far for me to travel. I do like your blue '66 GS 4 spd youtube video. Hope your Buick Bash happens and is attended well. Jim :beers2:
Oh my! If you are the 66 GS Buick enthusiast with the you tube videos, I would love to come see the barn and cars in person! Depending on the date - I say yes!
Sounds like a good time! I'd need several weeks of advance notice, but it would be fun to get together. -Bob C.
I,m in Jim. What date may you be planning or thinking about this???? Maybe I could come up the day before & test install a set of "Rockers"???? Then do a re-video.
Now your talkin Tom!!!! I'm thinking August... That would give Jim James plenty of time to get here!!!! Year before last I had 75 Buicks at my house...was good time good food...Yummm right Tom? Walt ..get your 66 up here!!!
I'm shooting for Lime Rock Vintage Weekend (Labor Day) as my first "event", so if I'm ready by August I'm in!
Really love to see your 66 GS conv...hey was that car in a barn in the 80's in Essex? I remember talking to someone back then about a 66 GS conv in a barn in that town,,,
hopefully, if it is after the first weeks of July, I could bring my 69 Stage.... Alan, you could drop a dime to Bruno about Hicksville.. a 69 Stage 4 speed AND a 69 Stage auto :Brow:
Jim I can make it if it's not too late in August, and as usual, am sure food and company will be excellent. Should have the stick in the 64 by then....I'll call you if I can come down any sooner for a visit. Pat
Jim - just watched the barn video's ... now everyone within earshot of my office is wondering whats so funny ?? " Do I got problems ??" very entertaining :beers2:
Really love to see your 66 GS conv...hey was that car in a barn in the 80's in Essex? I remember talking to someone back then about a 66 GS conv in a barn in that town,,, Jim, you have a good memory. Too bad I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast. It is that car! In fact the barn in question is in my avatar (pic from about 1975). I left it with my parents when I left for USMC boot camp in 1974. My mother drove it occasionally for the next 20 years. I want to get it back on the road while she can still ride in it (they are 86 this year). Looking forward to your party!
Haa! Dave...It was you I talked to along time ago...wow I scare myself sometimes...I cant remember what I had for breakfast either...but car stuff I never forget...thats crazy!! Your doin a great job....if ya need any help let me know..!!:3gears:
