I think 10 AM is a good time but if anyone wants to come earlier thats ok with me..I will outside setting thingsup.... I'm hoping it will go till after dark..so we can have round 3 on the burgers !!!! Hampton Inn Franklin is 1/2 mile up the road...and Hawthorn Suites in Franklin...is closer...google them and stay...or bring a tent !
What's the best route after NYC.....follow I-95 thru Rhode Island to 495, or head inland thru Hartford using 84 and 90 to 495? I dunno if my car's up for the trip yet....still gotta check some things out.
hi, Jim I finally made it to this side of the ocean.... ,hate plane trips... anyway I will be coming (with wife and 2 kids) do you need anything ? wow so excited to see nice buicks of every year ! Olivier
er Jim, I couldn't get a nice Buick from the rental car company, and it was kind of hard to bring mine... doesn't fit in the Boeing 757, so I'll be coming in some sort of a Jeep, is that ok ?
I hope to be bringing a few down from the sticks. should land sometime after 3. will there be room to unload the convertible for you jim? got cash right?
George if you are comin up 684 to get to 84 I am at exit 5 on 684. What time you guys thinking about. It would be good to have a bud or two on the trip, just in case:3gears:

Well dont feel so bad guys today was just one of those days,on the way up to Jim`s my friends rear took a $hit on his `65 GS about an hour into CT.we had to tow it back to NYC,my starter took a $hit, and my buddy lost his pressure on his brakes in his car,so go figure :af: ,sorry Jim it was just one of those days dude,we waited all year for this BBQ and it turned out like crap for us.:af:
George, Bad luck all around! Too bad. Would have liked to see you guys there Sean also had problems with a bad tire on the way down. Now that George's 65 has a blown rear, does he want to sell it to me discounted?! Somebody post some burnout pics or vids! Thanks for everything Jimbo! As usual a fine gathering, great people, good times. Pat
How about some pics and stories of the road worthy cars that made it>?:spank: Ok, that was a below the belt shot, but could not resist:beer If I had a dollar for every tow hook my BUICKS have been on over the years...
It was great to meet so many knowledgeable, friendly Buick folks. I really wish I hadn't missed the Buick raceday at NED awhile back. Many thanks to Jim and his family for putting together a great day. I'm sorry to hear the Georges had so many troubles on the way up, I was really pumped to see the Black Widow II! I'll post some pics soon - I still shoot slide film, so it will take awhile to get photos online...
