Becoming a fledgling member of the busted knuckle garge. Now get rid of the points and recurve the distributor. . . .:TU: You'll be cutting lights in no time

Don't forget to retorque your exhaust manifolds/headers too for long gasket life.
Check fluid levels frequently for any internal leaks.
(doubt you'll have any, but it's a good idea to check)

    Congrats,

just don't torque those 3/8" intake bolts to 74 ft. lbs. :eek2: as far as recurving the dist. i got an msd kit for the springs and bushings, used a dremel to open up the slot where the limit bushings go and held on the larger one with an e - clip. or just buy an msd ready to run, it is fully adjustable and no more points.

Apparently your "assistant" got lost on her way to my place, I haven't seen her yet. Unless you've detained her for another project? :Brow:

dont be intimidated by it...i was at first, but you just need to take your time and really make sure that you pay attention to where everything was...i actually drew myself a little diagram.

just clean everything up real nice and make sure you put a good amount of RTV. PM me if you have any questions on how i did it.

glad to help...same age and everything...this stuff is fun
