    ok now fight nice boys my machine shop told me that a small block chevy is the cheapest engine to build!

    Ok I have to come clean.. My original Buick motor was put in a chevy pick up in the middle to late 70s. Dad bought the car minus engine/trans. My dad had a customer total a built 70/71 camaro so that fresh engine/trans went into the GS. It Ran really good and was built well. I raced the mess out of it when I was younger and finally destroyed it. Built a race proven BBC combo to go back into the GS. Before the install I discovered THE BBB power torque and weight advantage. Sold the BBC.:Brow: and have had a BB Buick engine ever since. Also they guy with my original engine loved it and refused to sell it back to me.:spank: we finally lost track of him and gave up on that search.:Do No:

    This is about the oldest post that I have ever seen resurrected. I like the SB Chevy 400 too, but it's time to give it a rest.
