oh yeah look up the im alive thread or one where i was looking for a replacement in cars wanted lol. killed my 72 lesabre i had bad.
1985 Regal 350/350 with a transgo shift kit and 2500 hughes converter/GN 8.5 with 3.42s. Eddyville Racewaypark in Iowa is where I go usually, it's a 1/8 mile track in the middle of a corn field. Full interior with my tools and two spares in the trunk it's best run ever was 9.5@75 with a crappy 2.2 60 foot. Video from 2018 when it still had a 2.41 open and the stock 1100 converter without a shift kit and terrible brakes. Raced a bone stock two barrel v8 ranchero, and it was on facebook marketplace the next day for sale lol Run in the video was my slowest run of that night, 10.9 at 65mph. Fastest that night was 10.3 at 72 left it in first the whole way, at 5,000 rpm across the line.
350 engine is a great bracket racing engine very consistent, time for you next generation to get them out.
Mines slow as f**k....... Guy said so! Only have an 1/8 mile track too, Guy says that doesn't count either..... Lol
1/8 or 1/4 now I can put on a 150 shot SP3 bring it on this is your year come on Quaker bash is on I take you out with a 75 shot I already have on there you guys are funny lol Word on the street is your math is off and it is a paltry 365 lol What I do find funny is I said nothing about any of your car or you and you get on this thread and say I said something about you being slow where do you get off on this?
It was in the past not this thread, all you do is bash people on here buds. You can‘t even do a cam swap in 2 years so give it a break. Get your own **** done before you get after everyone else who does hit your time line. Mart has seen video of my car running with a half wiped out cam lobe.......
Seems reasonable to me, only a 3700 km trip one way…… Lol your good for a laugh once in while at least
It would be an additional .090" of stroke with the 1.889" rod journal.size unless you're limiting the extra stroke to .045"? So I have an extra .090" of stroke and .060" over(Radius squared X PI X number of cylinders X stroke) which would be the stroke divided by 2 which would be 1.93" squared X PI(3.14159) X 8 X 3.940" = 368.85046, rounded up because the . is greater than .5 is 369 CID. Or is my math wrong again…..
That math has me scared I don't want to race you lol I was trying to find who I bashed on this thread and I could not find them, but you sure didn't hesitate writing foul language on here directed at me. You sure are worried about my timeline on my camshaft been 2 years now huh? Wow how time flies I better git on it, you want to talk about slow I am not the one with a crank and motors and heads and all that other stuff that has been on my shelf for 15 years....collecting dust, you know those museum pieces lol. You barking up the wrong tree
Quit eating your popcorn...... Cam swap will go faster, one day job..... But you've got popcorn..... Back to our regular scheduled program...
I am pretty sure most of you guys are like me in that you all have a LONG list of projects (100s?). and the personal car projects often get shifted down the list. Throwing stones at others for taking too long to get it done and to the track is just cruel, as I am sure we all beat ourselves up enough. my 2c
Yep! Along with what you said it’s a crappy situation all the way around, prices for “stuff” has got everyones nerves bunched up, mine included, things take longer to get done.
