GS CLUB ? I LIVE IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND I'VE YET TO HEAR OF A GS CLUB . THERE WAS ONE SOME TIME A GO THAT I WAS A MEMBER OF LIKE 10 YEARS AGO OR SO IT WAS CALLED GS WEST THERE WERE A LOT OF MEMBERS . JUST LOST TUCH WITH THEM YOU KNOW GOT MARRIED HAD KIDS SO FREE TIME IS HARD TO COME BY, THERE ARE STILL ABOUT 6 0F US THAT STILL GET TOGETHER EVERY NOW AND THEN . MARCO
yea i was wondering because i havent seen a buick GS club for northern Cali.,there is a guy that has a truck wrecking co. in Richmond that i`m suppost to be getting a car from and was just wondering if you might`ve known him and were part of a club thats why i asked?he is a buick guy also but he is an old guy. so your about 40 min. from him?i also heard that thats not exactly the best part of town either(Richmond),lol,he seems like a decsent guy with a short fuse though,he is alittle grumpy with a slight attitude,it may be the same guy were talking about. Thanks
Re: GS CLUB ? Hey Marco...I was a member of that club, I designed the logo, or at least one of 'em, don't know if it ever got used. I can't remember the name of the guy that started it, but a guy by the name of Doug Frasure took over from him. There were some nice cars at the meetings, I've kept all the copies of the newsletter that Brian Sheldon produced, so have got the original club roster listings still. I unfortunately now live in Washington state...(where the sun almost NEVER shines)...so I'm kind of out of the loop on current happenings. Glad to hear that some of you guys are still getting together.
GS WEST IT'S NICE TO SEE SOME OF THE GUYS FROM GS WEST ON THE BOARD . OUT OF USE THAT STILL GET TOGETHER THERE ARE THREE 67 GS 400'S (ONE DROP TOP THATS ME:laugh: ONE HT,4-SPEED & ONE HT,AT ) ONE 71 STAGE 1 4-SPEED & ONE 65 GS. I GUESS SOME TIMES SMALLER IS BETTER. :TU: MARCO
I'm the Northern California GS club. I get together with myself and a beer in the garage every Saturday evening and talk to my car. Stangely, at the same time my wife is in the house bathing the kids and getting them ready for bed. What a coincidence! :laugh:
hey bro i got a bad ass gs in the wings a 1967 gs 400 4speed which i am going to throw a 455 stage 3 crate motor i want to make this the baddest gs in the san francisco bay area i know it is an up hill battle but CHIP FOOSE has nothing on me over haul this just kidding !
well 67 4speeds are not that easy to come by but i have one and me and my brother are deticated to bad ass 67 buicks so there will be some pics soon my brothers 67convertible is almost done and mine well , lets just say good things come to thoughs who wait!!! hey mark we will show them about west coast GS400 vert or 4speed. don't laugh bro ha ha tom.
