12.74 at the moment, with a couple of tenths of tuning improvement to go. this time slip is with a 1984 chevy truck, of course it's powered with a BBB (literally out of my grandmother's electra).
Mine is a '71 350-4V Skylark with AC. No idea how fast it would have been as new, likely a little slower now.I keep it as completely stock as I possibly can. Where would this car have landed for times when new? Driver has no racing under his belt! I slotted it in at over 17 seconds.
Depends on the car... The Buick? No idea. I'd guess somewhere in the 17's. The Subaru? Subaru says 13.3 @ 103-104. People are running 12.9-13.3 in stock form at around 104 with 60' times around 1.8. I havent been able to get to the track this year, but hopefully will before they close for the year.
Im guessing 13's, cause my 5.0 Mustang ran 14.7 and my Stage 1 kick's the crap out of that car... :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: Michael
Did you remove the dash? Just use a tach and oil pressure gauges in a alumanum "mini-dash" that is infront of the driver and ends midway across the car. (think nascar dash setup, with the passenger side hacked off)
12s flat the first time out ,but with the new dominator ,converter and the glass hood im hoping for low elevens ...MIKE :TU:

I voted in the 11's category, nothing like driving the car in my avatar to the track jacking it up putting on slicks and running 11's all night then driving home, 11.26,117.97 1.53 60ft :3gears:
10.98 @115 mph Last 10 sec 1/4 mile pass at EZS weight of 3950 was at ,ironically, Bowling Green in 1st rd elims. Had Joe Paterno ,he dusted me with a low 9 somethin. I had decided to put all 35 deg.of timing back into it (which was stupid) on a bigshot jetted 93 square.Burnt 4 plugs by 1000ft but still chugged thru with 10.98 at 115 mph. Best mph ever was 128. and best ever 1/4 et was 10.88 blowing up the driveshaft.Car now runs 6.70 1/8 et's but definitely wont run thru 1/4..oh well cant have everything...fish
Only my '63 is running right now, it's a stock motor, and it's not running on all cylinders, so I guarantee you it would be 17+.
Best - 15.1 With the B262 and Switch pitch tranny going in in a few weeks It better be in the 14's, or something might go boom causing a full rebuild
Wow, I started this poll FIVE years ago. It has been resurrected! I see that I selected 3 different ET's when I started the poll (back when I had 3 running Buicks).... and I don't have a car that runs any of those particular ET's anymore. ou:
wow, I haven't been here in forever! Well, I don't have a Buick, either. I did buy one, but had no way to get it home or work on it being 14 at the time... and my uncle sold it to another guy and reimbursed me. It was a 1977 Electra 225. Ivory with burgandy landau top and burgandy velvet interior. That thing was a land yacht with class. I miss that car, even if I never drove it.
