1916 was the year for Olds. I saw one in Thorndike,Maine a year or so ago. A Thorndike collector has one , a really nice roadster. The display sign showed that was the first Olds V8.

It came out at the worst possible timing, there had been a bombing some where on U.S. soil and it was very near the plot of the film. I dont think it got banned or anything. Holly Berry got her boobs out in it! If that jogs any memories??

Anyhow, what does TVR stand for??

    Here's some:

Name the year(s) where there were 3 Chevy models available with hidden headlights?

Can you name a car that wasn't a Ford product that had sequential taillights?

What's was the first year for the 440 4-barrel in the Road Runner?

Before it was associated with "male", it was associated with the god Mars, and iirc before that it was Iron. I'll bet those blacksmithy Swedes had Iron in mind....

I would say Mercury Cougar, but that could be considered a Ford product though.

How about the first car to use ribbon wire?

Wouldn't you have to add the Corvette to that list?

  20. What is the make and year of the first production American car with front wheel drive? (Hint: also the first U.S. car (I think) with hide-away headlights, and whose sister marque originated the design term, "boat tail")
