I've driven it in multiple monsoon type downpours! (As you said, not by choice but things pop up). Actually the weekend that pic with the hood up was taken, we drove from Norwalk up to lake Erie and cruised around the lake shore one afternoon. On the way back we got caught in a blinding downpour! I made a plug for the scoop out of foam rubber I keep in the trunk and stuff it in the scoop if rain pops up. The filter is an "airaid" brand, I'll have to look up the part number. Be warned, it was fairly pricey for what it is, but it was the perfect fit for what I had designed up to try to do, so ya gotta pay to play sometimes I suppose...

Not sometimes, all the time you gotta pay to play! That's also a great idea with the foam plug...man, a guy after my own heart! My GS 455 is the same color as yours and I wish I could find some poverty wheels like yours, but I don't want to make a twin, so I'll have to get different wheels than you !)

  4. Someone painted the car in the early 90s that color. It came with an empty quart in case I needed the paint code. It's taken some time but it's grown on my and I like it too.

I bet it looks great at night under the street lights waiting for the light to turn green.
