Not sure about dividing wall. Might just put a guard rail in.

Wall is rebared ever 2 feet. Every core is filled. Rebar is keyed into 6 foot 1 foot thick footer. Then top pad has rebar bent into cores.

Hey Scott, been perving on this for a while. Personally, I'd wall it it for a few reasons; heat and dirt. Im always tracking shop crud into the house and have to take the sandals off upon entry; or else! The wall is also for zonal heating. Build a nice steel grating stair case, and paint it yellow.

    Nice shop... well thought out!

Excellent! Its surprising how many folks don't do that! Nice that its tied into the footer too :)

Be kinda cool to look down into the shop from above. But I do have the heat set up to be zoned.

Maybe something like an assembly room divider on tracks?

    Hi Scott,

I am just catching up on this thread! Definitely small world, I live in New London Twp! Maybe we could meet at a cruise this summer.

I regret not putting floor heat in. when I moved into my building it was only 3 years old & 1/3rd of it did not have any concrete yet. I figured it was not worth the money for just one third. Little did I know that 10 years later I would add on 16x88. I do love my radiant heat tubes fired with propane. Extremely efficient .

    God Bless
    Bill

Soffit and fascia can be a bit of a time consuming job. Looking great though!
