It is unfortunate that such a great person who is willing to share his knowledge. God bless your family and know that your father was and still is respected by the members of this site.

    Matt-

So sorry to hear this news. I know nothing I can say will make up for what's happened. But as you can see you and your family are in the hearts and minds of lots of good people:TU: Your Dad must have been pretty special to merit that.

Oh man, what a tragedy...all I can say is I'll really miss Dave.

Matt, I'm very sorry for your loss. Just through discussions on the "Regals" forum I thought Dave was a great guy. Godspeed.

    Matt,

I'm shocked to hear about your loss... it's also a loss for all of us here on the forum. Whenever your dad posted, I could always count that he had some insightful and innovative advice. He will be sorely missed indeed.

Our prayers go out to you...

Matt, I am so sorry for your family's loss. The loss of a man's father is about as tough a blow as life doles out. Just remember he lives on not just through your memories, but he is forever a part of you- the things he taught you and the experiences you shared. Hang in there, time will help. You are in our prayers, Jack.

    Matt,

My thoughts and prayers. I've never met Dave in person, but I feel like I've lost a close friend. I've posted a plethora of questions in the "Regal with Extra Cylinders" forum and I'd say G-body was the first to answer............9 times out of 10 with very helpful advice. He was very thorough posting pics and very explicit instructions and explanations.

Best wishes to you and your family as you cope with the loss of your father. Brutus is a car worthy enough to keep your entire life. I hope you may have it finished and one day bring it to BPG Nationals as a tribute to your father. God Bless.

    Matt--

My thoughts are with you and your family as you continue this difficult time of grieving.... It sounds like when the time is right you are ready to pay a fantastic tribute to your Father and finish that project. Think of it as therapy for you and your family as well--- It may be difficult at times ("what would Dad do") but grieving the loss of loved ones is like riding a roller coaster--- happy thoughts and memories always follow the difficult times.

As this thread shows, the Buick community is behind you!!!!!

    Take care.......
