We're SO sorry for your loss.

Yes, this is a BIG Buick family and we'd be proud to have you stay with us in your Dad's stead. I'm sure he'd be very proud of you for that as well. He was a big part of the Buick community judging by all his input here.

There will be a whole lotta folks praying for you and your family and for the folks here who knew Dave personally.

    Best Regards,

    Gary Fanning

I am very sorry to hear this news. Dave said at one time that I inspired him to build his car after seeing mine run at Mid Michigan. If I can be of any help to you in completing this project please let me know. Your dads presence here will be greatly missed.

This is a very sad day for all of us. Personally Dave helped me with a bunch of questions I had when I was doing my regal, even when I moderated the regal thread. So when the time came to recommend a successor when I had to step aside, I had little doubt that Dave was the guy. I talked to him several times off board and always came away more knowledgeable(sp) for it. He will indeed be greatly missed. I will forever remember him and would like to also say that you are in my prayers, you and your family.

I would also ask that Mike and Jim leave Dave as a moderater for the v8 regal thread . As a permanant tribute to a friend and fellow Buick fan.................

    Prayers from Kansas.......................

I really don't know what to say. All the pictures he'd post and updates he gave us showed more than just good work. It showed a real interest and caring for the automotive community. It probably didn't stop with cars either. Thanks Dave for your time. I wish I woulda met you or had you for a neighbor. Rest well!:ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball:

:( Dave was one of the folks that when I saw that he posted, I almost always stopped to see what he had to say. I'm sure you are proud of your dad and hope you find whatever is the best way to deal with your loss.

I would like to offer my condolences to you and your family as well.I dealt with him trading parts as well as buying things also.He was always willing to help others on here out and was a decent man.He will be sorely missed by us here as well as me.It saddens me to think I will not be replying to him anymore but,I see his legacy will live on with you.Iwill say a prayer for you and your family.Do us a favor and retain his V-8 name so we can all be reminded of him when you log on.
God Speed Dave! Hope they drive Buicks in heaven.
