In 1980 I rode my Yamaha XS11 touring motorcycle into the NYC area. Even parked it at a now gone small bike only lot near what's now Battery Park. Met another biker there who thought I was nuts for not having a heavy duty lock. He loaned one to me while I walked to the World Trade Center. Told me he and his buddy often rode theirs into Manhattan and would trade bike check duties throughout the day. Told me they'd also watch mine. Met many nice people during that trip, and one cranky old bat who didn't like it when I pulled over to let my engine cool down on 34th St. near the Empire State Bldg.:D Oh yeah, my bike wasn't touched while on that visit.

Once made a delivery to a place just off Girard Avenue in North Philly. That was interesting. Had another North Philly delivery just off Broad Street on a different trip. No problems either time.

It's illegal for any PA government or Law Enforcement agency to keep a registry of firearms. "...a permanent data base of the sales..." would be such a thing, and against PA statutes. (18 Pa.C.S. § 6111.4)

Your post states (last sentence) that anyone moving to PA with their firearms, buying a handgun "face to face" (personal sale) from someone moving to PA with their firearms, would instantly be in possession of an illegal weapon.

Not sure where you got the information you have cited, but it is not factual.
