Yep! I had mine for one day, long enough to box it up and send it off to Kimber...
I find out later the recall was for firing pin issues, specifically when you would pull the trigger sometimes it went 'full auto'!! Maybe I would have kept it if I'd known! LOL
    Haven't received it back yet.
I bought the new S&W model CSX at the same time. So far its been in my pocket taking the place of my Kimber Micro 9. I really like it!

I heard! Good for you guys. The Supreme Court heard arguments for plaintiffs in NY so we can at least get a full carry permit without having to show just cause.

Heres something I found out a few days ago and some what interesting to me. I did a service call at a guys house and as it turns out he is a state instructor for the CCP class which is required to get that permit. He said a convicted felon can take the class and get the permit. And from what I understand black powder type weapons are permitted to be carried/ fired / hunting ect by a convicted felon. Seeing as the state in their wisdom held a hearing where my case was heard after a 13 yr wait without my knowledge and denied my application again. Id like to carry but black power would be big an heavy

I had a day of weakness... it started when I got an e-mail from a lgs one evening. I was the first one there in the morning when they opened and I got my pick of the litter. Made in Germany and I got one in mint condition. Though to find a deal like this these days.

On my drive back, I stopped at two other shops.... just to' look'....and couldn't pass this one up.
There's something about metal frames and hammer fired that does it for me!

    Two more on the way,

Jay Inslee is running a "Non stop gun sale promotion" in the Communist controlled NorthWest.

Bill, Here in Florida they dont play when it comes to a felon with a firearm. If a guy was to break into my house and I shot the intruder I'd go to jail. Just cant take that chance on losing all that I have acquired over the last 30+ years. Few weeks back I was assaulted inside a Wawa conv store in Ocala. Told the kid it was in his best interest to walk outside and go home. He and his friend did go outside but were standing there in the parking lot waiting for the old man to come out. The manager saw the exchange and escorted me to my car to avoid any trouble. If I'd had a firearm on me things might have gone differently.

Not so in the three counties I spend most of my time in. In Orange, Seminole and Lake counties, at least, if the initial investigation indicated that I was in my house and shot an intruder, I'd be thanked by the officers and probably be on the evening news as a hero. Is it different in your area?

Ray, A felon in possession of a firearm anywhere in the state maybe even the USA is a felony in its self. Im not about to catch another charge unless my or my familys life depends on it. To old to go back to jail.

Sorry, Briz. The way I read your post it looked to me like the person who broke into your house was the felon. I didn't realize you were referring to yourself. Again, sorry.

Yes he is, best gun salesman in the PNW!
Oh, and the best 'high capacity' magazine salesman as well. I just ordered close to a $1000 of mags ahead of their new law.

In this scenario the intruder probably is a felon. So that would be felon on felon violence!
