You mean...apart from the TA Wagon? Edit: Nice job on the wagon. Could you send me the original drag car pic? I need those wheels at that angle for other cars.
yep...you're getting mail. BTW, the TA wagon is not a full size wagon....Sportwagon right? I'm talkin ESTATE WAGON!! Oh yeah!! :bglasses:
OK, this is news to me. There are varying sizes of wagons. I mean, I know all wagons are (of course) different sizes but I didn't know there are two sizes? What is that, like a stretched version or something? Or are the 70's wagons just plain huge and in a category of their own?
Estate wagon based on the Lesabre/ Electra body. Sport wagon based on the Skylark/ Special body. :Smarty:
The Sportwagon was based on the Skylark/GS platform, the Estate Wagon was based on the full size platform - 71 Sportwagon - Wheelbase of 116" - A Body 71 Estate Wagon - Wheelbase of 124" - B Body
Estate wagon was built on the B body frame .:Smarty: :3gears: LOL :beer ou: :TU: ( Adam you got me this time )
woah Bruce! The Electra has a wheelbase of 127"..... The Estate Wagon has a WB of 124" - It's a B body.....the Electra is a C body:laugh:
I make jokes to people who are astounded at the size of my Electra saying..."Yeah but what you can do, they don't make these in a Station Wagon so this was the biggest that I could find" which would leave them wondering if I was mentally healthy. I have always wanted a huge American Station wagon (Brady Bunch influence?). Thanks for pointing out that there are big wagons and there are 'planet-sized' wagons too. I learned something today.
