What is with the exhaust on that black 70?
The white one along w a bunch of others ran the Yellowbullet nationals 3 years ago.
A bodies were in attendance well that year.
Bunch of us in 10.0 index.

I guess just to satisfy FAST rules.....

    Sure don’t look it.
Looks like a straight pipe exit off headers off front pipe.

Have to run manifolds I thought....

    gscalifornia Small blocks rule!!

Is he running electric cut-outs or whatever you call them? I'm pretty sure there's a full exhaust system there with manifolds, maybe he's got the cut-outs when racing other classes than FAST.

I thought it was off header collector pipes.
Super nice car. Hope to check it out.

This Saturday 11/6 StreetCar Shootout....a class for anyone to run.
Going to be mineshaft air....too bad I have to slow my car down for 10.00.

Come on out and run your best times ever!

I'll give it my best shot...hopefully I won't be the only Buick powered there....Branden? Mike P?, Tom Wagner?
And LARRY....bring it out....I guarantee you will run best time ever! 30.40 barometer at 52 degrees....it will be WAY below sea level! Like 1000ft below!!!
If my first qualifier is decent I might take the weight out and no throttle stop and shift it high and see what it will do on the second......9.69??might get booted tho.....
    Hmmm....700 passes on motor tho....

The trailer is hooked to the wagon and tomorrow I'll load the '69 up. Hoping to set a new best for the stock appearing all-iron "400". Maybe an 11.6X in this kind of stupid air? The last few mornings the windshield has been frozen over! Supposed to be sunny so hopefully the track will hold.

I was going to go racing tonight at Cecil, Friday night, but now the track is closed because of low temps. It's 39 degrees right now at 10am. I live about 5 minutes from the track. I hope you have better luck tomorrow. Make sure you check the tracks website before you head out.

First round of practice is now at 10 AM instead of 9 so they are watching what is going on. Supposed to be sunny so that will be a help. If the traction is there is will be amazing. Cold Air Drags indeed.

Ken, can't make it on Saturday?

We were planning on just racing Friday night. My wife has just gotten into racing this year in her 2020 Mustang GT, I was going to run the GT500 and my boys were going to race their cars, an 87 El Camino and 85 Regal with a 455. Even my sister inlaw was going to make her first passes at the track Friday night. I was looking forward to it all week. My Skylark is down right now waiting for a 482 to be built by Jim Weise but hopefully next summer I'll be racing it again! I will plan on some of these events next year. Good luck to you guys.

Sounds like a real family affair. They still have a few Saturday TnT's left usually with great air.

Yeah we've had a lot of fun this summer at the track. Even a couple of my kids friends got hooked on racing this year.
