Anyone going? I'm running Jag in 10.00. Going to be great air ...30.40 barometer! 57 deg. I'm going to have to pull out all the stops to slow down for 10.00. Weight, timing, throttle stop. They have classes for anyone....including 12.50 and 11.50 index and Pro dial. Be nice to see some BUICKS there.....
Going to be Outlaw cars running....some wild action.... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=920124242081460
My Chevelle is ready but have not found a truck yet for pulling trailer. Good luck and kick Azz. 10.0 and pro dial are great classes.
Good luck Bruce. We will be there the following Sunday for some team racing with the Pontiac G8 crowd.
Lost third round but rd1 and 2 were good races..... Mike Pesarchick was there with his 69 and running great...11.70s
My '69 was running 11.80's for my two practice runs plus first round. I would have been happy with 11.99 with the semi-new all-iron "400". I was so excited about the ET's and then I realized that I left my street tires in the trunk, about 110 lbs. Took them out for the next round, dialed down, won, and ran my best. Sorry I only had a .005 on that run but 11.731@113.01 was my best. Shows the old 100 lbs. is worth a tenth and 1 mph is close. -.11, + 1.4 mph. I have to get an exact weight. The air was super duper earlier but was "only" about -700' on that run while at 10 AM it was -1400'!!! Won four rounds in Super Street and lost in the semi's with a -.023 red so I took 3rd. They are sending me a check for some $$$, just don't know how much. If it is not 80* at Bowling Green maybe I can pull out an 11.99 in BSA.
Omg Those are amazing tight rounds in 10.0 And first and second round????? Wow You got a great season ahead.
Well I'll try but I'm just footbraking against trans brakes and 2-steps. Leaving off a microswitch and finger vs my foot. I have to bump in to cut a light. The guy who won (Dan Walleigh) shallow stages and still cuts killer lights on the PRO tree.
Which car does he drive. I raced once there last year and the rest at Atco with my black 70 Chevelle.
